I am trying to invest in a diamond ring that is listed at 1,750 USD. Before receiving the ring I can pay $80 for a C.G.A. Gemologist report that values the ring. Can you sell a ring just based on this report and should I be worried that the company I am dealing with is Canadian? How much do you think a retail valued ring for 1,750 USD could be sold to a jeweler for? Any advice would be appreciated.
